Our packages are individualized to each family. Our overnight services are scheduled in ten hour shifts generally between 8 pm and 7 am. We discuss scheduling in terms of two nights, three nights, or five nights a week with a minimum of six nights. Our daytime shifts are scheduled in blocks of four hours between the hours of 9 and 5. There is no minimum requirement for this service. Families can choose to do a combination of both day and night services.
Do you require deposit?
Yes, we do ask for a deposit to hold your spot in our calendar. The deposit is equal to one week's pay and will be applied to the final week we work together.
Does the doula help with household chores?
Our doulas can help with light housekeeping only. This might include loading and unloading the dishwasher, wiping down counter tops, folding baby laundry, sanitizing bottles or breast pump parts, etc.
Can I run errands while the doula is caring for my baby?
Unfortunately, no. Our doulas are not insured to be home alone with the children. Our doulas would be happy to run out and get something for you or plan to bring it on their way to your house. It is perfectly acceptable to leave the baby with the doula while you nap, shower, etc. She is there to provide you with the time you need for self-care.
